Experience true freedom

When the Founding Fathers of the United States threw off the shackles of tyranny by rejecting British rule, they put their reliance on Divine Providence -- God's provision. They exchanged dependence on the British for dependence on God.

At the time it must have been a terrifying decision, but they knew there was no way to enjoy their unalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness while still serving British masters.

The authors of the declaration were outlawed and threatened with execution for treason should they be captured. Freedom for the nation meant giving up their own comforts and making great sacrifices.

The Bible describes a similar choice that only you can make for your own life:

"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."
Matthew 6:24

We can serve the master of selfish materialism, consumed by the stress and worry of never having enough, or we can serve the God of the Bible, which makes this promise:

For the pagans run after all these (necessary) things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Matthew 6:32-33

Be Set Free

Are you ready to start a new life living for God instead of yourself?

The Bible explains how this is possible in an extraordinarily consistent story, despite being authored by people living thousands of years apart from diverse cultures and even different languages.

It tells the story of God's plan to set you free from your old ways, born again into a new life made possible by a kind of spiritual prisoner exchange.

The truth in these verses is simple, yet to embrace it means letting go of all our personal hopes and dreams and embracing God's greater purpose for our lives instead, a purpose far above anything we could dream or imagine.

This is the most important decision you will ever make, because it affects not just the rest of your life here on earth, but what comes after as well.
