Now if You kill all this people as one man, then the nations that have heard Your fame will say AMP

Now if thou shalt kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of thee will speak, saying, KJV

[Remember] that you were at that time separated (living apart) from Christ [excluded from all part in Him], utterly estranged and outlawed from the rights of Israel as a nation, and strangers with no share in the sacred compacts of the [Messianic] promise [with no knowledge of or right in God's agreements, His covenants]. And you had no hope (no promise); you were in the world without God. AMP

That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: KJV

For the Athenians, all of them, and the foreign residents and visitors among them spent all their leisure time in nothing except telling or hearing something newer than the last-- AMP

(For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.) KJV

Then will they cry to the Lord, but He will not answer them; He will even hide His face from them at that time, because they have made their deeds evil. [Isa. 1:15.] AMP

Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings. KJV

After this, many of His disciples drew back (returned to their old associations) and no longer accompanied Him. AMP

From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. KJV

Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses while this house [of the Lord] lies in ruins? AMP

Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste? KJV

Have you not just now cried to Me: My Father, You were the guide and companion of my youth? AMP

Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth? KJV

For I am already about to be sacrificed [my life is about to be poured out as a drink offering]; the time of my [spirit's] release [from the body] is at hand and I will soon go free. AMP

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. KJV

Among whom you also once walked, when you were living in and addicted to [such practices]. AMP

In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. KJV
